IES 2018 brings together scientists from general economics, econometrics, knowledge economy, economic policy, corporate finance, and marketing in order to exchange knowledge and discuss issues related to major events and world politics at the macro and micro levels. Globalization is an indisputable trend. This is related to increasing cross-border links such as international cooperation, international trade, international investment, multinational corporations and global institutions. This long-term trend seeks to address the topic of this international scientific conference.

Number of participants and papers

Participants from around the world (mainly from Czech Republic, Russia, China). Approximately 50 scientific papers. Full Paper length shall not exceed 10 pages. Expected Proceeding range is 520 pages (preface, content, 50 papers with 10 pages). A maximum of two articles per author and per volume is accepted.

Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice (VŠTE)

The primary focus of VŠTE activities is the implementation of full-time and part-time studies for professional bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes. The professional study programmes are supported by cooperation with regional entrepreneurs. VŠTE´s other priorities include applied research, the implementation of innovative technologies and knowledge transfer into areas that are current and crucial with regards to the regions needs.     The conference was held on Thursday, November 7 at the Spa Hotel Vita in Ceske Budejovice..

    More than 50 people from the Czech Republic, China, South Korea, Russia, Ukraine participated actively.

    We are now finalizing the conference proceedings, which will be ready by the end of November 2019. It will then be published and submitted for indexing to the Web of Science database.
